Learning Japanese Traditional Culture: Tea Ceremony Class at Nakanayoro Elementary School with Instructor Itoh from Gyokusen Enshu School

A tea ceremony class was held at Nakanayoro Elementary School (Principal Yuichi Inamoto, 15 students) in Nayoro on the afternoon of the 2nd starting at 12:40 PM. All students experienced chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony), a traditional Japanese culture. Instructor Sachiko Itoh from the Gyokusen Enshu (Tamagawa Enshu) school of tea ceremony led the class, with assistants Masae Hara and Sakura Yamazaki. This tea ceremony class is part of the school's cultural education program facilitated by Itoh.
