Promoting Nayoro Through Basketball: Sports International Exchange Officer Maketo Shares Vision with Mayor Kato

Maketo Binzangi (36), a basketball instructor from Canada who came to Nayoro as a Sports International Exchange Officer (SEA), visited Nayoro City Hall on the afternoon of the 2nd to share his future activity plans with Mayor Takeshi Kato. The acceptance of exchange officers aims to promote internationalization at the regional level by inviting young people from overseas. Through basketball instruction and community engagement, Maketo plans to enhance cultural exchange and develop local talent while strengthening international connections for the city of Nayoro.
