Making Life Enjoyable for Everyone in Shimokawa: Akiko Morikasa, Support Staff at Yamabiko Gakuen

This month, we spoke with Akiko Morikasa, a support staff member from Shimokawa who has worked at the disability support facility Yamabiko Gakuen (山びこ学園) for over 30 years. We asked her about what inspired her to choose this work, the increased connections with the community that emerged after the COVID-19 pandemic, and her thoughts behind the Yamabiko Festival on September 5.
