Nayoro Municipal Hospital Sends 5 Medical Staff to Kumamoto as JMAT Members to Support Earthquake Victims

Five members of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) from Nayoro Municipal General Hospital (Director Katsuaki Magishi) departed on January 26 for the affected areas of the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake. They will serve as members of the Japan Medical Association Disaster Medical Team (JMAT) to provide support to disaster victims. The team includes emergency medicine physician Ryoya Takiguchi and nurse Chia Takiguchi from the hospital, who will conduct medical activities in Uki City (Uki-shi) to care for those impacted by the disaster.
