Nayoro East Junior High School Celebrates New Campus Opening with Relocation Ceremony

Nayoro East Junior High School (Principal Shuji Matsuura, 184 students) held a relocation ceremony on January 21st at 8:40 AM in the school gymnasium to celebrate the opening of its new campus. The previous school building, located at Nishi 2-Kita 8 in the city, was constructed in 1981 and had become severely deteriorated. Additionally, it did not meet Japan's new seismic safety standards, prompting the relocation to a modern facility that provides a safer and more comfortable learning environment for students and staff.
