Insights from Living and Working Elsewhere: U-turn Residents Share Their Perspectives on Shimokawa Town Today

We interviewed three people who left Shimokawa Town for education or employment, lived and worked outside the town, and have since returned. They shared their perspectives on the merits of Shimokawa Town that became apparent after leaving, how the town has changed from past to present, and how they plan to apply their experiences gained outside the town going forward. They also discussed their relationship with the town beyond a simple binary choice of returning or not.
