1,200 People Enjoy Remaining Summer at Nayoro Citizens Bon Odori Festival

The Nayoro Citizens Bon Odori Festival (Bon Dance Festival), a long-standing summer tradition, was held on August 14th from 6:30 PM at the west parking lot of the Nayoro Citizens Cultural Center (Shimin Bunka Center). Participants dressed in traditional yukata (summer kimono) and creative costumes danced in circles, enjoying the remaining summer days in Nayoro. The event was organized by the Executive Committee headed by Shigeru Saruyatani. The festival was relocated from its traditional venue at Minami Plaza to accommodate the community.
